I went to the orthopaedic surgeon on tuesday to find out if i would need surger. So I go and meet my soon to surgeon. He checks out both my knees and diagnoses my right one a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and my left as a partial tear. He says I should probably get surgery for both knees, but I figure I've already been playing on my left with it torn why not just wear it in completely and get the surgery later? He said fair enough but your right will have to be done for you to play soccer again. What they are going to do is take one of my hamstring tendons and put it in place of my torn ACL. It sounds small but its a long wait and some intense physio to get back running, jumping and playing soccer.The date has been set for May 16th.
